IEI General Contractors Receives 2009 BUILD Award for Bellin Cancer Hospital Construction
IEI General Contractors recently received the 2009 BUILD Award for New Construction for its work on the Bellin Health Systems Team Cancer facility in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Presented by the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin, the AGC BUILD Award highlights the quality work performed by IEI General Contractors on this important health care building.
As commercial construction builders with significant expertise in health care facility construction (hospitals, clinics, etc.), IEI General Contractors followed its motto of Integrity, Excellence & Innovation ("IEI") throughout this successful project.
The Bellin Health Team Cancer facility was a fast paced project with an aggressive timeline. It consists of a $6-million, 30,000 square foot building and many important, high-end features, including a radiation/oncology vault with 5-foot thick concrete walls, a pharmacy and a CT scanning room, among other features. The owner of the Bellin medical building, Babcock One, stated: "I have built five buildings for Bellin and the project management on this one was the best I have experienced."

IEI has performed project management and general contracting construction work Bellin Health, St. Vincent Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, Bay Area Medical Center, and other Wisconsin hospitals and medical buildings.
