Lodge Kohler Taps IEI for Luxury Hospitality Construction

The Kohler Company’s hospitality division has built its reputation on premium properties in some of the world’s finest locations. When Kohler committed to serving as an anchor tenant in the Green Bay Packers’ Titletown District with its four-diamond Lodge Kohler hotel, it turned to IEI General Contractors to put the finishing touches on its new gem.

IEI General Contractors Puts the ‘Special’ in Lodge Kohler

Four-diamond hotels feature exquisite details that set them apart from typical hospitality offerings. As the centerpiece of the Green Bay Packers’ Titletown District just west of Lambeau Field in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, Kohler Co. was committed to developing a luxury hotel worthy of its corporate image in one of the most visible locations on earth.

Kohler contracted with IEI General Contractors to complete the crucial finish carpentry and decorative exterior masonry that would help set Lodge Kohler apart from the crowd of hotels that cater to guests traveling to Lambeau Field for games, concerts and events within the stadium’s massive atrium.

IEI teams completed casework in Lodge Kohler’s 134 guest rooms and 10 suites, including dressers, pocket doors, coffee bars and other amenities. IEI dedicated 25 craftsmen working six to seven days per week in order to complete the project in time for its July 19, 2017, opening. The target date coincided with the start of Packers training camp and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Banquet weekend.

In addition, IEI crews installed the main bar in the indoor/outdoor Leaps & Bounds Café on Lodge Kohler’s first floor, and performed masonry work on exterior planters and other decorative items such as gazebos and trellises.

The café, along with the full-service Kohler Waters Spa and the Taverne in the Sky panoramic bar and restaurant are all open to the public.
