New construction and major renovations highlight bank contracting work

IEI General Contractors has developed a reputation for quality work within multiple business and education sectors, and the projects we have completed for the largest bank in Wisconsin has us climbing the ranks among bank contractors.

Associated Banc-Corp, the largest bank holding company in the state, selected IEI as general contractor for a large renovation project that helped Associated move its headquarters from Milwaukee back to its downtown Green Bay roots.

IEI self-performed multiple portions of the 112,000-square foot project over a six-month period to stake our claim as a rising force among bank contractors. Our teams completed the interior demolition of the former Regency Suites building, along with the rough and finish carpentry work on the six-story structure.

Safety and dust control were major aspects of this project, as we worked around the approximately 70 employees who occupied the third floor. We maintained safe access for them during the course of the project, and then moved them to the fifth floor when it was time to finish the third floor.

IEI is known among bank contractors for new branch construction

Associated Bank reached into its collection of bank contractors again a few years later to select IEI as general contractor for a new branch building in West De Pere. This $2.2 million project was the bank’s first to feature a rustic bronze color scheme rather than the familiar green palette.

We self-performed several aspects of this project as well, contributing the external masonry, foundation, concrete flat work and miscellaneous interior carpentry work on the 3,000-square-foot building. Concrete construction is one of IEI’s strong suits, and a skill set that sets us apart from many bank contractors.
